About Us

The German Shepherd Dog (GSD) is the most popular 

breed in the world, known for their intelligence, courage, 

loyalty, and guardian instincts.   

At Maverick, our mission is to promote the total GSD. 

We strive to produce healthy dogs with stable, self-confident temperaments

 who are eager to play and desire to spend time with their families. 

With chosen, select bloodlines, our dogs will have the 

intelligence and personalities to be trained in a variety of tasks.

Whether it be participation in a particular dog-sport, show, or as a personal companion, 

our focus will always be on the dog - holistically. 

Maverick Handiworks is located in Barrington Hills, IL. 

We are on five, bucolic acres for our dogs to learn, roam and play.
